After returning from Walter Reed Medical Center on Oct. 5, President Donald Trump likely exposed White House staff to COVID-19.

The decision to leave the hospital after only three days of treatment follows a string of questionable decisions by the president that have put others at unnecessary risk of contracting the virus. While at the hospital, Trump took an unplanned “joy ride” to wave at his supporters, putting his Secret Service agents in harm’s way in the process. Before that, he attended a mask-less fundraiser in New Jersey, despite a top aide recently having tested positive to the virus.

Trump hasn’t taken the COVID-19 seriously on a policy level since the start of the pandemic; now, we are seeing that he doesn’t take it seriously in his personal life either.
