Florida counties are seeing a surge of food insecurity. In Miami-Dade County, it has increased from 11.8% to 15.9%. In Bradford County, it has jumped to 19.1%, and in Marion County, it's at 17.9%.
"I didn't appreciate the vote until I lost my rights as a felon. If they want to stop a bunch of Blacks and Latinos from voting, it must be important."
Although the presidential seat is the main interest for many voters, other positions affecting the day-to-day government also deserve consideration.
The magistrate made the decision even though the system meltdown might have prevented thousands of potential voters from participating in the upcoming elections.
"This isn’t something the state couldn’t have predicted...We’ve been trying to tell them for months this was going to happen."
