After 17 years without federal executions under Democrat and Republican presidents, the Trump administration has ramped up its death penalty spree in advance of his last day in office.
The federal executions of Daniel Lewis Lee, Wesley Purkey, and Dustin Honken took place between July 13 and July 17, alarming advocates and legal experts.
